What do you see here… is the glass half full or half empty?
I think we´d all like to say its half full, as that’s far more positive. But it all really depends on what we´re talking about and how confident we are on the topic in question.
Let´s take investing as an example, clients all want to make money obviously, but when it comes to the crunch and it´s time to make the investment decision, emotions can run wild and decisions can be skewed as a result. It´s the old battle of head versus heart. The head may offer sense, but the heart can be paralyzed by fear.
Let´s take a hypothetical market that has recently seen a large drop… How many of us see this as an opportunity to get in at a lower price with better value for money? And how many of us see the investment as having a recent poor performance and are turned off by it, thus losing out on the future gains?
At Baycrest Wealth we help our clients remember their objectives, define their destination and understand the language of money, as well as enjoying the journey together. #financialplanning #money #wealth #investing #investment
